The mother of three likes to document her outdoor activities with her kids, even though she no longer shares their faces. But her latest video is a little different, as Jill revealed that they’re facing a major crisis at home, and it’s giving her and her family a hard time. Keep reading to see what happened.
Counting On: Jill Duggar Shares Family’s Crisis
Jill and her family are in quite a rough situation. The Counting On alum stated in her latest video that they don’t have water. The clip started with Jill suffering from an allergy due to the neighbors’ mowing their lawn. Jill then revealed that there are men doing maintenance in their area, and they may have accidentally struck a waterline, causing the entire subdivision to lose water. “I don’t think it was planned,” she added.
Jill then grabbed their large water jug from their car. She plans to bring her kids to one of her friends’ houses to take a shower after a football game, meaning that the water outage may take longer than expected to repair.
Jill is hopeful that their water line will get fixed soon. She admitted that it never happened to her before, adding that they have been through multiple power outages, but never a water outage. “At least not in America. When we were in Central America, we did,” she said. It also made her and Derick remember their days when they were still living in Central America, but they at least had a storage tank for water, which they don’t have in their new home.
Jill Keeps Her Kids Busy
Later in the video, Jill shared a rare glimpse of her youngest child, Frederick. They were out for a walk and later stopped by the river to watch some fish. According to Jill, she’s happy enough that they have power, because that would be harder to deal with. Several fans sympathized with Jill on both of her IG and FB posts, saying it’s difficult to manage a large family without power and water.

Jill didn’t share anything about Israel and Samuel. But the Counting On alum revealed earlier this month that her two older boys have been into physical activities, and a lot of fans commend Jill for not allowing her kids to succumb to modern-day gadgets.
