Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Reveals She’s in a New Relationship

Meri Brown is offering a new update on her relationship with Ron, who viewers were introduced to on the latest season of Sister Wives. In the final episode of season 20, during one-on-one interviews, Meri revealed that she and Ron are still “building this really cool friendship” after they met at a speed dating event months prior.

Meri claimed she felt “very comfortable” around Ron, telling host Sukanya “Suki” Krishnan, “I really love that I can be myself around him.” She also insisted that she and Ron “don’t date,” but rather “hang out and enjoy each other’s company.”

Throughout the season, viewers watched as Meri and Ron slowly built a bond brick by brick, from teaming up together for a charity event to riding e-bikes together at Zion National Park.

Meri declined to answer whether or not she and Ron had kissed in the past, but indicated that there was some level of attraction between them. “I mean, have you looked at him? He’s cute!” she exclaimed when asked if she wanted to date Ron.

Jenn Sullivan, Meri’s long-time best friend, indicated that she would be happy if Meri and Ron took their relationship to the next level, but only if “that’s what Ron and Meri want.”

Several clips of Meri and Ron were shared during the one-on-one interviews, including a confessional in which Meri admitted she and Ron “have a connection.” “We both have shared that with each other that there’s a reason why we’re in each other’s lives,” Meri explained at the time. “What that reason is remains to be seen.”

In one clip, Ron explained why he wanted to spend time getting to know Meri on a deeper level: “You learn a lot and you get to know them, and you know little, little things that you never knew. Later on, both Ron and Meri confessed to each other that they were “happy” to spend time with each other. “This is a good place to be,” Ron said while they sat along a riverbank.

Meri’s former sister wife Christine and her new husband David Woolley gushed over the footage of Meri and Ron spending time together. “That was so cute!” Christine exclaimed, later adding, “I hope that they just don’t end [as] friends.

Even Meri’s ex-husband Kody was beaming after watching clips of Meri and Ron. “It looked like a lot of fun!” he told Suki, noting that there was “some good energy there” between the pair. “It’s this exciting experience when you first meet people,” Kody explained. “I mean, it’s like it’s just really cute. And whether they work or not, there’s this excitement that you kind of get watching it.”
