Sister Wives star Janelle Brown has a lot of incredible things happening in her life right now. She has moved into her new home on Taeda Farms in North Carolina, and she is really living. Yet, it is also the anniversary of Garrison Brown’s passing. Therefore, the former sister wife penned a very special message to her late son. Keep reading for more on what she wrote to him two years after he died.
Janelle Brown Pens Special Message To Late Son
Sister Wives fans watched the Brown children grow up right before their very eyes. From Lehi, Utah, to Flagstaff, Arizona, it has been a ride. Unfortunately, it has not always been an easy one. Kody and Janelle Brown shared six of the eighteen children in the family, one of them being Garrison Brown. A straight shooter, he was also very sensitive. He took his father’s estrangement very hard, which happened during the pandemic. That was when Kody spent most of his time with his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, and her five children. Moreover, he wanted to “evict” Garrison and his brother, Gabe, from Janelle’s home.

This left the brothers feeling alienated and sick inside. Garrison had some mental health and substance abuse problems. Eventually, he took his own life, and the family was left picking up the pieces. Now, on the second anniversary of his passing, Janelle Brown penned an emotional message to Garrison via social media. She posted one of his National Guard snaps, which she noted is her favorite. Fortunately, Janelle had exciting things happening on the anniversary as the big items were being moved into her new home:
“I think it was the perfect thing. I was so busy but it was also significant to me that today would have signs of the new chapter, the new life that has begun for me since you left.”
She concluded her post by telling Garrison how much she loved him, which was perfection. Sister Wives fans who saw the post immediately jumped in to send her love and big hugs. They could only imagine how hard this day was for her and only wanted to offer a shoulder.
Janelle Brown had an amazing support system in her followers who only wanted her to feel loved. This day will never get easier, but at least she was kept busy and on a new adventure. Some of the sweet messages Janelle received were as follows:
- Sending you so much love. We feel this and we want anyone that is reading this know you are not alone. It’s okay to not be okay.
- You are a gem Janelle! Praying for you!
- Make me cry! You are such a beautiful soul and mother.
Janelle’s daughter, Maddie Brown Brush, also chimed in with her own tribute to Garrison. She posted a picture from when she was pregnant, standing next to Garrison. They both had their bellies out, smiling brightly. She noted that she hoped he had “real peace,” and it was clear how much she missed her brother.
