Joseph Duggar’s Home Eerily Quiet After Arrest for Alleged Sexual Activity With Minor: First Photos (Exclusive)
Hours after Joseph Duggar’s arrest, his home and his parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s family compound in Arkansas appeared still, with no noticeable activity at either property.
In In Touch‘s exclusive photos, taken on Thursday, March 19, a large white truck can be seen parked in the driveway of the home the former 19 Kids and Counting star, 31, shares with his wife of nine years, Kendra and their four kids. The shades on the one-story home in Tontitown, Arkansas, were drawn tight.
“There was literally nothing happening,” a source exclusively tells In Touch. “Just looked like another day.”
The family compound owned by Jim Bob, 60, and Michelle, 59, was similarly quiet, with four white vehicles parked in their driveway.
As In Touch previously reported, Joseph was arrested and charged with Lewd and Lascivious Behavior – Molestation of a Victim Less Than 12 years old and Lewd and Lascivious Behavior Conducted By A Person 18 Years Or Older on Wednesday, March 18, according to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
The alleged victim, who was just 9 at the time the incidents occurred, claimed that the former reality TV star “repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap.” They also claimed that Joseph covered them up with a blanket and “grazed her genitals” and allegedly continued to “rub his hands on her thighs,” according to the report from the Bay County Sheriff’s office.
In Touch was the first to break the news of his older brother Josh Duggar’s underage sexual molestation scandal in May 2015.
While no charges were filed in that case because of the statute of limitations, Josh was later arrested on April 29, 2021, in connection with charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. He was found guilty on all counts in December of that year and sentenced to more than 12 years in prison on May 25, 2022.
