Michaela has been busy with her life as a foster parent. In her latest Q&A video, she revealed that she and Brandon are still open to fostering more kids and even adopting. However, the Bringing Up Bates star added that they’re currently satisfied with their current two foster boys. Michaela wants to ensure that she’s giving the kids a loving and safe home. Aside from her foster life, Michaela also mentioned the recent drama in the Bates family.

One of them was Katie’s decision to move to Texas after having a fallout with the majority of the family. Michaela admitted that it’s a bittersweet situation, but she and Brandon once lived in Chicago for 5 years, and she knows how hard it is to miss her siblings and parents. But despite all the drama, Michaela shared that she just wants to be a supportive sibling as much as she can.
Michaela Shares Updates About Mama Jane After Suffering From A Stroke
Michaela also mentioned her grandmother, Mama Jane, in her latest Q&A. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, she loves bringing her kids to the farm, adding that it warms her heart seeing the boys talk to Mama Jane. Michaela added that Mama Jane is doing well, though her recovery from the stroke is taking some time. Mama Jane was rushed to the ICU earlier this year. She was found lying in the middle of the farm by a family member. It was revealed that Mama Jane wouldn’t have made it if she hadn’t been found sooner.

Michaela added that she’s so proud of the work Mama Jane is putting in to get her strength back. She also revealed that Kelly Jo has been spending much more time with Mama Jane in South Carolina.
