She’s been harmed repeatedly, and she no longer wants to keep it to herself. Katie wrote, “But when someone has been repeatedly harmed, staying silent or distancing yourself despite knowing the truth can become its own form of betrayal. Neutrality doesn’t always equal innocence, and it certainly doesn’t equal support! I stayed silent for a long time and I’m not doing that anymore.”
Bates Family Members Pray For Katie After Cutting Ties
Katie recently shared a new clip on IG featuring a relaxing moment on a cruise. The clip states numerous motivational messages about staying positive, no matter how hard life hits. But what caught many people’s attention was the family members who commented on Katie’s post. One of them is Josie, who told her, “Love you and praying for you through this difficult time ❤️.” Michaela is another family member who left a positive message for Katie, saying, “Love you and praying for you every day!”
Zach and Kelly Jo also left heart emojis. But many fans believe Gil and Kelly Jo played a significant role in why Katie distanced herself. She even deleted some photos and clips of them together on her IG page. One of them was a photo from 2021, in which she announced her relocation to New Jersey with Travis.
Meanwhile, some Bringing Up Bates fans on social media think Carlin is part of the ten percent of family members who are still in touch with Katie. This comes after Katie commented on Carlin’s relocation post, expressing her excitement for them.
